Distanced Ensemble Recordings

Our industry evolved during Covid-19 especially in the realm of recording. Opting for a distanced recording means your work can be scheduled across the entire roster of SoundScore artists, and is not limited to artists within one city. If you are interested in getting a distanced reading- recording of your work, you can indicate this at the time of application. Please be aware that you will be asked to upload the following files to ensure a successful distanced recording:

• A click track of the work with tempo fluctuations.

• A midi mockup of the entire work to use as pitch reference and overall sense of the work.

• If possible, composers provide a midi mockup of the work with individual parts removed (in a trio, for instance – an individual track for each part).
