Javier Diaz

Javier Díaz is a New York City–based percussionist, educator, and composer. He performs regularly with the American Symphony Orchestra and a wide range of chamber and Latin jazz/Afro-Cuban ensembles, and has appeared with groups including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New York Pops, New Jersey Symphony, and Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Díaz is known for his versatility across orchestral, chamber, and contemporary settings.
