Jeanne Marie Conquer

Ne_e en 1965 dans une famille musicienne, Jeanne-Marie Conquer obtient  l'ge de quinze ans le Premier Prix de violon au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris.

Elle entre ensuite au cycle de perfectionnement dans les classes de Pierre Amoyal (violon) et Jean Hubeau (musique de chambre).

Born into a family of musicians in 1965, Jeanne-Marie Conquer graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur of Paris with a degree in violin performance at age 15. She then pursued post-graduate studies with violinist Pierre Amoyal and chamber music professor Jean Hubeau.

Jeanne-Marie Conquer est soliste  l'Ensemble Intercontemporain depuis 1985.

Elle est “galement membre du Quatuor Intercontemporain.

Jeanne-Marie Conquer has been a soloist with the Intercontemporary Ensemble, based in Paris, since 1985. She is also a member of the ensemble's quartet, the Intercontemporary Quartet.

Ses nombreuses tournes sous la direction de Pierre Boulez, David Robertson, Jonatand han Nott et Suzanna Mlki l'ont mene de l'Australie aux USA, de l'Argentine  la Finlande, du Japon au Mexique et dans toutes les grandes capitales d'Europe.

She has participated in numerous tours in collaboration with Pierre Boulez, David Robertson, Jonathan Nott, and Suzanna Malki, presenting concerts in Australia, the United States, Argentina, Finland, Japan, Mexico, and in all the major European capitals.

Concertiste attire par tous les rpertoires, elle s'est fait reconna être dans le concerto d'Alban Berg   la Mmoire d'un Ange .

Elle a ensuite interprété les principaux concertos pour violon (Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Paganini, Lalo, Sibelius, Tchakovski).

Drawn to a diverse range of repertoire, her performance of Alan Berg's violin concerto,  In Memory of an Angel , is what first earned her recognition. Subsequent performances of the major violin concertos followed (Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Paganini, Lalo, Sibelius, and Tchaikovski).

Elle dveloppe denatand s relations artistiques particulirement attentives avec les compositeurs d'aujourd'hui, comme Luciano Berio (1925-2003) pour la Sequenza, György Kurtág, György Ligeti (1923-2006), pour le Trio avec cor et le Concerto pour violon, Peter Etv’s, pour son opra Le Balcon, Ivan Fedele, et, bien entendu, Pierre Boulez.

Jeanne-Marie Conquer a en particulier interprété en soliste le Concerto pour violon de György Ligeti  la Cité de la musique  Paris pour l'anniversaire de ses 80 ans.

She has worked along-side many modern-day composers, including Luciano Berio (1925-2003) in La Sequenza, György Kurtág, György Ligeti (1923-2006) in his horn trio and violin concerto, Peter Etv’s in his opera Le Balcon , Ivan Fedele, andof coursePierre Boulez.

Most notably, she was soloist for the performance of György Ligeti's Violin Concerto at his 80th birthday celebration concert at the City of Music, in Paris.

Chez Deutsch Grammophon, elle a enregistré la Sequenza pour violon seul de Ltand uciano Berio, le Pierrot Lunaire et l'Ode  Napolon de Schnberg.

She has recorded Luciano's Sequenza for solo violin, as well as Schnberg's  Pierrot Lunaire  and  Ode to Napoleon,  both under the Deutsch Grammophon label.

Elle a interprété dans de nombreuses villes en Europe, en particulier au Festival de Lucerne et au Collge de France  Paris ainsi qu'en premire cration en Amrique Latine  Buenos Aires en Aot 2006 Anthèmes II de Pierre Boulez pour violon solo et “lectronique.

She has performed in a number of European cities, most notably at the Lucerne Festival and at the Collge de France in Paris, as well as in the Latin American premier of Pierre Boulez's Anthèmes II for violin solo and electronics (Buenos Aires, August 2006).

Durant la saison 2006/2007, elle a interprété notamment les concertos de Philippe Leroux et de Pascal Dusapin avec l'Ensemble Intercontemporain  Paris et les Kafka-Fragments de György Kurtág pour violon et Soprano dans plusieurse Ltand capitales.

Durant la saison 2007/2008, elle a e_galement interprété le concerto pour violon de Rihm  la Cité de la Musique  Paris.

From 2006-2007, notable appearances include performances of concertos by Philippe Leroux and Pascal Dusapin with the Intercontemporary Ensemble, in Paris. She also performed György Kurtág's Kafka-Fragments for violin and soprano in several capital cities.

In addition, she performed Rihm's concerto for violin at the City of Music, in Paris, during its 2007-2008 season.

Elle a “t” invite  donner des Master Class en particulier  Buenos Aires, Caracas, New York et Lucerne.

She has been invited to give master classes in Buenos Aires, Caracas, New York, and at the Lucerne Festival.

Elle a enregistré Anthèmes et Anthèmes II de Pierre Boulez pour la publication d'un ouvrage de Jean-Jacques Nattiez consacr”  l'uvre de Pierre Boulez.

She has recorded Pierre Boulez's Anthèmes and Anthèmes II for the publication of e Ltand a text dedicated to his work, written by Jean-Jacques Nattiez.

Elle jouera en 2011 le Concerto pour Violon  Graal théâtre  de Kaija Saariaho  la Cité de la Musique  Paris.

She will play next season the Violin Concerto  Graal théâtre  de Kaija Saariaho to Cité de la Musique in Paris.
